Current Processing time: Our current processing time is 10-15 business days.  Please note, this does not include weekends or holidays. 

How Should I wash my items? We want your item to last years and years!  We recommend washing everything COLD and hanging or lying flat to dry. Steam or iron inside out without applying heat directly to your design.

How do I enter my monogram? Traditional monogram order is first name initial, last name initial, middle name initial.  You can enter your initials however you’d like though, but the way you enter them and preview them is exactly the same way it will get made! 

Can I order without a monogram?  Yes! We know that monograms are not for everyone (we understand, I guess hehe) You can enter XXX when entering your monogram, and our team will know to make the item with no personalization! 

Why is your processing time so long?  Each piece is made to order.  Our items (whether personalized or not) are not sitting on the shelf stocked.  Our small team orders, stages, prints/embroiders/presses each item here in our warehouse in Charleston, South Carolina! This allows us to offer so much variety in our sizes, colors, and designs.  

Will you let me know when my order is complete? Yes! After you place your order, you will receive a confirmation email.  A few days after that you will receive another email letting you know we are working on your order.  You will receive another email once your order is packed up and ready to ship! You will receive a tracking number in this email so you can track your package all the way to your door!

Can I cancel my order? Because we purchase the garment as soon as the order is placed, we cannot offer cancellations on orders. If something is wrong with your order, please contact Customer Service as soon as you can! We'll do our best to make your order right.

Can I change the address on my order? Please contact us ASAP if you realized you entered the wrong address.  Please provide the correct address when reaching out.  We will try our best to get this changed for you. 

Can I make a change to my order? There will be no changes made to your order once it is submitted. But, we're all human! If you made a mistake, email us within 24 hours of your purchase & we will try to assist you as best as we can. The quicker you reach out, the better the chances we can assist. But any changes made are not guaranteed to be within the final product of your order's completion. Our systems files are created based on the original submission of your order, not additional changes made.

Can I pay for rush shipping?  We do not offer rush orders at this time. 

Can I return my item if I don’t like how it fits? Because all of our items are made to order and custom, there are no returns or exchanges on our items. This includes products that are not monogrammed. We cannot accept an exchange and/or return if you ordered the wrong size, have a timeline that conflicts with our processing time, or you don't like the color thread you chose. We will try our best to offer you a discount code to order something you love though!

My order has a mistake, what do I do? If there is a mistake on our end, we will be glad to fix it for you! If we have made a mistake, please contact us ASAP via the Customer Service email with a picture of your issue. Your item will only be remade if you have contacted us within 5 days of receiving your item. Please note that we cannot offer remakes on items that have experienced normal wear and tear or have not been properly washed.

What happens if my order was lost in the mail or says delivered and I did not receive it? United Monograms is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.  Once an item leaves our facility, we have the same tracking information available to us as you.  We do suggest waiting at least 24 hours after an item is marked as 'delivered' because sometimes the postal service scans packages early.  We suggest checking with neighbors and your local post office as well!  As a small company, we do our best to please our customers and wish this was something we had more control over.  If you order is lost or stolen, please reach out and we can offer to remake the order at a discounted rate!

**As of May 2025, We will not produce any Make it Yours™ submissions related to 'Chick-Fil-A' - customers will be automatically refunded
